MRS Training Day at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is an annual event bringing together students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty and investigators from across departments to celebrate and showcase advancements in Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences.

Nicole presented a poster entitled “Advanced Phenotyping for Prediction, Rehabilitation, and Early Detection using Machine Learning,” detailing the current progress of her masters thesis. Her poster encompasses her work regarding the application of machine learning techniques to analyze ambulation kinematic data from maskless motion capture videos, generating unique gait signatures in an embedding space. The project is ongoing at this point.
